In other news, Kyle will be graduating just about a month from today. Well- finishing exams that is, his convocation is not until June... on a Tuesday (bizarre, I know). I am so thrilled for him. I can see how exhausted he is- and what a stressful last push this is. It is so encouraging to see this work come to a complete fullness, and what a sweet victory it will be for him. I can not wait to celebrate all his hard work! (Note to self, this calls for throwing a party! Start planning it!... Pinterest, here I come).
Not much else is going on in our world, I've recently taken on some new responsibilities at work; that comes with reward and with a pretty big learning curve. I'm enjoying the growth though, really. I'm anxious to see where life takes us post Kyle's graduation- not necessarily because of a potential move but to get on with planning our summer. We have a few pretty significant things, Kyle's brother is getting married and we are looking forward to celebrating with them! I can't wait to do tons of camping, and I'm planning a girls trip to Vegas with a close friend in August. (Yes friends, I realize what the temps will be in Vegas in Aug- I love the heat. Love. It.)
Honestly, that's about it right now. At least for what I'm willing to share on this little space of the web haha ;) Isn't it funny how difficult it is to be vulnerable, and put yourself out there?
Anyhow, as a closer... yesterday was Psalm Sunday, I wanted to share a few verses.
Matthew 21:6-11 says:
The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna[b] to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”[c]
“Hosanna[d] in the highest heaven!”
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
Pax to you this week sweet readers.
