A Hairy Situation

This past Saturday I went to the hair salon to do my first trial run for my wedding hair. Sweet mercy, the amount of bobby-pins that went in there and didn't ever come back out. Ok, they did...but Kyle and I were literally pulling them out for 45 minutes...

Back it up,

I went in and asked for something elegant, completely up, unique, detailed and smooth (e.g. no funny pieces pinned everywhere). Needless to say, here is my advice. *Sidenote, I was happy with my hair although I wasn't in love with it.

1) Don't be afraid to do more than one trial, definitely with another stylist if your completely unhappy and perhaps at another salon. In my case, we are super happy with the salon but I am going with a stylist who has more experience.
2) If you want something unique/complex, look for a stylist who has more years of experience and has kept up with their education/styles/trends/technique classes etc.
3) Don't, and I mean DO NOT be afraid to speak up if you see something that you really don't like. (e.g. how your bangs are parted, how curly it is, whatever...)

So, as you can see: as stated above, it's really nice. Was it what I wanted, no. We will see how trial #2 goes :)
