I am a project quitter; let me explain further, I am one of "those people" who starts many projects only to find them half-finished months later. This includes many attempts at knitting, crocheting, painting (which I don't even know why I start in the first place), sewing...the list goes on and on.
It's not that I can't be creative at all- I can, really! One previous summer I was hired as the lifeguard at camp, as well as the Craft Director...I will tell you now that my crafts were atypical to the normal summer camp crafts; teen camp we sewed pillows, adventure camps we made awesome placemats....anyhow, I promise they were cooler than they sound, and involved a lot of modge-podge.
Back to wedding plans. I plan on being the ultimate DIY'er. This will not be tacky, and I have high hopes for elegance, creativity and ideas that people say, "remember that wedding that had such and such". Yes that will be MY...er our wedding, don't worry honey, I won't forget about you! (I kid, my ultimate goal is to be gracious and as un-bridezilla like as possible).
Below are some crafty ideas we plan to have at our wedding.
I think some mad libs are in order for the reception tables, think how hilarious these would be read- and such a good time filler if there is downtime!
Table number ideas that are so sweet- although I think I would do age number (i.e. Table 9, 9 years old) instead of years.
I think it is a must to have a funky photo booth the the reception, or perhaps in between the ceremony/dinner.

This is a unique idea that I found for after the wedding, the bride's bouquet flowers in Christmas ornaments. How beautiful is that!? |
Love,
Heidi
