Four Month Update: Nathan Lucas

Nathan Lucas: 4 Month Update (03.07.16)

As I wrote in the last post, I've been neglecting this blog far more than hoped. I'm trying to post more often, and at regular times instead of lumping them all together!

Below is Nathan's Four Month Update. He is growing TOO fast, and we are amazed at what a wonderful little boy we have. This month has been hard on us; we had his four month vaccines which he reacted to much more than the last set, a sleep "regression" (he's far more aware, and just wants to play!), as well as discovered he is lactose sensitive (more on this later- but it basically meant our household became almost dairy-free).

Nathan is a very happy little boy, and everyone comments on how much he smiles, he looks a lot like his dad but still has some features from mum as well. We are enjoying our first summer with him, and hope to go camping soon (if I'm brave enough!).

Weight: 14 lbs 9 oz
Length: 25 inches
Head Circumference: 42 cm

Milestones

-Laughing all the time in response to something (usually peek-a-boo with daddy).
-Sitting unassisted with a pillow (usually leans forward to play with his toes!).
-Discovered his feet, and loves holding on to them.

Loves

-Bath time, peek-a-boo, any type of music.
-Plays while standing in his exersaucer, no longer needs assistance.
-His carseat still as long as he is fed/changed and not going into it while over-tired. I have to time it much more carefully now that he's getting older.

Dislikes

-Beginning to play shy with people he isn't familiar with, he isn't too bad but is most content being held by a familiar person.
-Sleeping for longer than four hour stretches. Seriously! Hoping I get my good sleeper back soon, once this regression/growth spurt is done.
