July Update (Belated, now that we've spilled the beans).

I couldn't come up with a more creative title for this post, I know it's terrible. The last few weeks have been slightly improved, due to my new best friend Diclectin. I have no idea how this tiny pill works so well, but I don't care. Finally I'm able to make it through the day without the constant nausea/puking etc... although I still don't feel 100% like myself, and I'm crazy tired I will take it over how sick I was. I'm just approaching my 8th week... it's been fun letting family and close friends know the exciting news.

In other news, we are currently in the midst of looking into moving (just closer to Kyle's job- since I'll be on leave come February). Currently our apartment is a one bedroom, and while I'm sure we could make it work for a little while- I know that we are ready to expand. We've found some great townhomes, and are looking forward to getting further into that process of becoming homeowners. Yikes!

In terms of how I made it on my June goals:

"Monthly Summer Bucket List- June"

  1. Go camping two times. (once being in the mountains). This actually didn't make it in June, we were far too busy- we've gone just last weekend in Banff with a good group of friends. Tiring, but so fun. Onyx also is an amazing little traveler/camper, I'm so glad we have a great little dog
  2. get a haircut. (One that you love, and treat yourself!) Yep, last week. It's shorter, and refreshing for the summer. I'm not sure if I "love" it yet- I think I will once I'm more used to it.
  3. go running 3X a week, no.matter.what. Fail. Mostly due to being preggo and SO sick. I could barely manage to get through my day, let alone go running haha.
  4. take Onyx for as many walks as you can stand, and then some.  We've discovered a great new dog park, and the weather has been awesome. Onyx has been getting in tons of outdoor time, which I am so happy about!
  5. go to Peter's Drive In (preferably in Calgary, but Red Deer will do!)  Yes, both actually! Red Deer and Calgary. Sadly I've been so sick, that I haven't been able to enjoy it as much as I usually do- but I still managed some this weekend.
