Like finding a needle in a haystack.

Dress shopping. Overwhelming, and no I'm not talking about wedding dress shopping. I know what I like, I know what I want, and I know what looks good on me. I'm talking about bridesmaid dress shopping.

I've just started this process and thank-god for my awesome MOH to point out things like, "if we do those colors together the bridal party is going to look like Barney (loved him when I was 5, probably not the look I want to go for now), or "you realize if someone doesn't have a chest that dress will look like _____ ) Got it.

Trying to find the right shades, the right style and a reasonable price is becoming...interesting. I haven't lost hope- one of my awesome bridesmaids-to-be E sent me this great link of a site called WeddingtonWay and it has been awesome. You can put in your bridal party, some info about them & their email/twitter; the site then allows you to upload your favorite dresses and you and your bridal party can rank which ones are your faves and order right from that site if you want.

It's great for looking a different styles, designers and allows you to customize fabrics and colors along with neckline, length etc.

K and I are looking for the "right" shade of purple right now, last weekend I also went dress shopping for myself (easier, still overwhelming) and fell in LOVE with one- didn't buy it, but definitely will consider it. I'm trying to plan a girls weekend with Kyle's family to go do some wedding things, unfortunately my schedule is a bit of a mess, but I hope to figure out things soon.

Needless to say, I will decide on a color and this will NOT be happening at our wedding!! Yikes!
