Some things learned along the way.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while- eep, it's almost March! Which, in a way is a good thing; it being almost March means it's that much closer to April...which means for a university student it is that much closer to summer! 52 Days. It's not like I'm counting...much.

Anyhow, although I haven't done as much wedding planning as I usually am able to come up with; this is thanks to midterms ruining my life. I have had a few conversations with my best friend K (who is also my maid of honor) about things that we need to think about.

Our phone conversation yesterday:

Me: So, I think I'll come to Edmonton for my reading break, and we can do some wedding planning.
K: Oh good, you know it's a lot closer than you think. I mean, we still have time obviously, but it's not like we have a ton of time.

"A ton of time", what does that mean in wedding lingo? For instance, I can't imagine planning a wedding in 6 months or less, even 3 months (kudos to all you brides out there who have done this!). Currently our wedding is just over a year away, and things seem under control.

Things we have been working on and hope to have down in the next month and a half: Venue, rental idea of what we will need for the venues, budget, guest list (yes, if you read my previous post on that  here you will know that making a guest list can be a bit of a nightmare).

Anyhow- right now I wish I could be in the process of really making some decisions solid for the wedding. Unfortunately that will have to wait a little while (at least until I am on reading break or home for summer).

You can check out the church that Kyle and I are hoping to get married in here, it's Third Avenue United; and is gorgeous!

PS: As you remember my previous post of STILL being sick, I am glad to report I am feeling much better (health wise). I had whooping cough (so attractive); nothing that a dose of strong anti-biotics couldn't fix.

I can't wait for the summer days to be back so we can go camping again!

I miss summer. A LOT. I included these in this post to remind myself of how much I love summer.
Love H
